The Northern California Real Estate Women of Influence program recognizes women across the spectrum of disciplines in the real estate industry—brokers, builders, designers, developers, lawyers, lenders and owners.
Professionals were honored for their achievements, including the deals, projects and transactions they were involved in during 2010-2011. Honorees were acknowledged at the Northern California Real Estate Women of Influence awards luncheon on October 4, 2011 and through online and printed editorial coverage by the The San Francisco Business Times.
This year 55 women in Northern California were recognized for their contributions to the real estate industry. The San Francisco Business Times and a panel of judges chose the honorees. The luncheon and award ceremony, held at the Omni Hotel in San Francisco, was hosted by the law firm of Allen Matkins.
For the first time, women were inducted into the Hall of Fame. They include Anne Hoffman of BioMed Realty Trust Inc., Constance Moore of BRE Properties, Barbara Morrison of TMC, and Jeanne Myerson of the Swig Co., and.
The theme of “ending up” in real estate seemed prevalent among these influential ladies. Many of them mentioned that they started out interested in other fields.
